Operating in 180+ countries, we design and deliver people-first solutions powered by cloud-based technology – helping organizations grow and enabling workforces to perform at their best. /ppLearn more at /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAs manager of the day to day local HRO activities for his client(s), the Payroll Senior Manager has following business responsibilities: Act as the main HRO interface for internal and external contacts (AMO (Team) Managers, Social Law Advisors and client representatives) /liliEnsure payroll processes are performed in due time and validate payroll before payment /liliProvide leadership, coaching and assistance to team members in their day-to-day activities /liliHandle exceptions and complex tickets regarding payroll escalated by Subject Matter Experts /liliAnalyze and approve feasibility of change requests and provide workload estimations to the client /liliConduct regular team meetings as well as regular reviews of open issues or change requests with AMO and HRO and regularly report to the HRO Manager and HRO Service Delivery Managers /liliMonitor tickets status to meet SLA’s and escalate whenever appropriate /liliHave a thorough knowledge of contract scope, coordinate and communicate issues, and initiate follow-up with the team, HRO Service Delivery Management and HRO Management /liliManage the resources allocation within the team in order to guarantee the continuity of the service to the clients as contractually agreed /liliParticipate in the development of innovative and proactive methods to assist the team in achieving performance standards /liliGuarantee that the team is actively following up on updates in employment law /liliRegularly control quality assurance (QA) on team members’ work /liliParticipate in the development of the HRO department and to the ongoing process of improvement /liliFor his specific client, the Payroll manager also provides support to the Service Delivery Manager by: Preparing and participating in regular local service delivery meetings with his client /liliLooking for possible improvement of the services provided /liliManaging operational issues: analyze the root causes and possible remediation /liliRepresenting operational excellence towards his client and ensuring operations delivery according to the contract /liliMaking sure all SAS70 HRO duties are respected /liliPreparing specific operational reports /liliNext to the key accountabilities related to the business, the Payroll Manager also has people management responsibilities: Be aware of company objectives, respect them and act on them /liliShow leadership: steer and motivate people to implement the company’s strategy and values /liliGuarantee that the team members are following company policies and guidelines /liliGuide team members through their career: define an individualized career development plan for each team member, taking into account the market-trends, the wishes and the capabilities of the employee /liliProvide ongoing feedback, and plan conduct performance evaluations with each team member, together with the HRO Manager /liliBe the coach and mentor of the employee, act as the first contact point of the team to solve issues and advice the team members in their day-to-day activities /liliMonitor the performance of each team member and take appropriate actions if/when necessary /liliProvide regular feedback on the team members’ development to the HRO Manager /li /ulh3Technical skills /h3ulliBachelor or Master degree with an HR or Business emphasis, or equivalent /liliBe an expert in SAP HR, or in payroll processes and employment law /liliHave prior client service experience /liliPossess a strong client focus and sense of accountability /liliGood knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel…) /liliExperience in coordinating and managing a team is a strong asset /li /ulh3At Strada, our values guide everything we do: /h3ullibAnticipate Customer Needs /b – We stay ahead of trends so our customers can grow and succeed. /lilibOwn the Outcome /b – We take responsibility for delivering excellence and ensuring things get done right. /lilibChallenge Ourselves to Work Smarter /b – We move faster than the world around us to drive change and accomplish more. /lilibEmpower Each Other to Solve Problems /b – We tackle challenges head on, ask tough questions, and collaborate to find the best solutions. /lilibCare About Our Work /b – We understand that what we do impacts millions, and we have a responsibility to get it right. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3pAt Strada, we support your whole self—offering a range of benefits for your health, wellbeing, finances, and future.
