BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Italy.
Responsibilities
* Provide first and second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
* Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues as needed.
* Communicate promptly on issue status and resolution.
* Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010. Support Cisco Jabber as an authorized desktop application.
* Have basic knowledge of Mac OS to support Apple PC users.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
* Perform general preventive maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
* Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripherals.
* Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware/software issues.
* Possess broad IT experience with basic understanding of networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
* This role requires flexibility and teamwork in a project-based environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Valid work permit.
* Extensive knowledge of IT and computers.
* Several years of experience in a related field preferred.
* Italian language skills at minimum B2 level.
