Whether you are digitizing drug discovery and development, identifying innovative solutions, or streamlining our processes, you will make a significant impact on countless lives.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop, analyze, and distribute safety data reports to support regulatory compliance and operational decision-making.Investigate solutions to operations' issues/enhancements and develop or contribute to written materials that communicate solutions and/or options to relevant stakeholders resulting in appropriate decisions.Ensure that the company's critical information and records stored within safety systems are managed in accordance with external regulations and internal processes, protected and controlled over the long term, and available for critical business needs in alignment with established retention schedules.Resolve system and operational issues, document solutions, and support system releases and UAT.Gather, document, and validate business requirements through collaboration with functional teams.Assess impacts of changes, propose solutions, and align system use with business processes.Drive continuous improvement, support training consistency, and contribute to project updates and solution roadmaps.Basic QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) or in a life sciences field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology).
ExperienceMinimum 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.Post-graduate education may substitute for a portion of the required work experience.High school diploma (or equivalent) with significant experience may also be considered.Technical SkillsAbility to work with large datasetsExperience in project management, data analysis, business analysis, and information integration.Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.Skills And CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Flexibility in managing shifting priorities, handling multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.Preferred QualificationsSQL KnowledgeExperience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Business Objects, Spotfire).
