Contract Logistics Lean Manager - Relocation to the USA

Savino Del Bene Logistics is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and skilled Logistics Lean Manager, ready to relocate to the United States and lead the implementation of Lean principles and methodologies across all Savino Del Bene logistics facilities in the country.
This position is part of the Logistics Division, which manages warehouses worldwide and provides Contract Logistics services to its clients.
The main goal of the role is to enhance business performance in terms of productivity, cost management, and customer satisfaction—by optimizing processes, eliminating waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement at every level of the organization.
The position reports directly to the Operations Director, overseeing U.S. logistics operations and indirectly to the Global Contract Logistics Lean Manager at the group level.

Responsibilities
Analyse every macro and micro process phase and plan targeted actions to create an operational ecosystem that eliminates waste and enhances efficiency.
Conduct regular review sessions with management and daily training, sharing, and feedback sessions with staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Promote the importance of cleanliness and order in all work areas to ensure a safer and more productive environment.
Assess warehouse space management and redesign layouts to support optimal flow, ergonomics, and waste reduction.
Develop action plans, define KPIs, and measure the impact and effectiveness of implemented initiatives.
Identify and coordinate key local resources responsible for maintaining Lean practices over time.
Education and Experience
Good written and spoken knowledge of Italian and English .
Knowledge of Spanish is considered a plus.
Lean certification (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt).
Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or related disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong willingness to relocate to the U.S. and integrate into a dynamic international environment.

Tools and Skills
Proven experience applying Lean and Kaizen methodologies within logistics environments.
In-depth knowledge of operational processes .
General understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management System) logic and technologies supporting operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI, or equivalent).
