We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where interns are valued members of the team and are given meaningful projects to work on. /p h3Primary Job Summary /h3 pThe HSE Specialist plays a key operational role in supporting the HSE Manager in strengthening the safety culture within Geoclima. /p pThis position is responsible for the technical execution and monitoring of EHS activities, acting as the daily point of contact between the HSE function and production departments. The role ensures that safety procedures are properly understood and consistently applied across operations. /p pThe HSE Specialist reports directly to the HSE Manager and works in close collaboration with Operations. The role supports the Employer and the RSPP; however, all legal responsibilities (Italian Legislative Decree 81/08) and strategic decisions remain under their authority and are not delegated. /p h3Duties And Responsibilities /h3 h3Safety Climate Leadership /h3 ul liThis role supports the HSE Manager in promoting and monitoring a strong safety culture across all organizational levels. /li liIt contributes to safety programs such as safety observations, near-miss reporting, and behavioral safety initiatives. /li liThe position requires a visible presence on the shop floor, acting as a bridge between HSE leadership and operational personnel. /li /ul h3Compliance Standards /h3 ul liThe HSE Specialist supports compliance with Italian regulations and company policies. /li liIt contributes to maintaining ISO 45001 certification and assists in updating procedures, work instructions, and risk assessment documentation. /li liThe role includes conducting regular field inspections, identifying gaps, and proposing corrective actions. /li /ul h3Incident Management Prevention /h3 ul liThe position assists in incident investigations by collecting data and supporting root cause analysis (RCA). /li liIt manages the tracking and reporting of safety KPIs (TRIR, near misses, incidents) for management review. /li liThe role supports the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). /li /ul h3Training Development /h3 ul liThe HSE Specialist supports the development and delivery of safety training programs. /li liIt manages administrative tracking of mandatory training, including deadlines and documentation. /li liThe role also supports onboarding activities, ensuring new employees are properly introduced to safety procedures. /li /ul h3Processes Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liThe position collaborates with Operations, under HSE Manager supervision, to apply Lean principles and the Munters Production System (MPS). /li liIt provides support during the installation of new equipment or layout changes, ensuring HSE requirements are met. /li liThe role interfaces with Engineering to ensure safety guidelines are integrated into execution phases. /li /ul h3Workplace Equipment Safety /h3 ul liThe HSE Specialist manages the operational selection, distribution, and monitoring of PPE usage. /li liIt supports the evaluation and implementation of safety devices and systems. /li /ul pThe role maintains a constant presence in the workplace to identify hazards and promptly report them to the HSE Manager. /p h3Skills And Qualifications /h3 ul li3–5 years of experience in HSE roles within industrial or manufacturing environments /li liExperience in incident investigation and root cause analysis (RCA) /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills /li liProactive approach, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset /li liAbility to work effectively on the shop floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams /li liGood English communication skills (written and spoken) /li /ul h3Education Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in a relevant field (HSE, Engineering, or equivalent) /li liAdditional HSE certifications are considered a plus /li liExperience in production or manufacturing environments is preferred /li liStrong knowledge of Italian health safety regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08) /li liFamiliarity with ISO 45001 standards and audit processes /li liKnowledge of safety KPIs and reporting systems /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liCompetitive Salary /li liProfessional development opportunities /li liDynamic and safety-driven work environment /li liAccess to modern tools and continuous improvement initiatives /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Employer /h3 pMunters are equal opportunity employers and are committed to diversity in the workplace.
