Scope
Operate and perform a broad range of Process Science activities supporting team, department, and company goals. This includes laboratory work within operational areas, collaborating closely with Associates at all levels, coaching, mentoring, and driving standards. The role involves developing downscale models and process improvements based on the Quality by Design approach.
In this role, you will :
* Develop small-scale models to support troubleshooting and process improvements for manufacturing robustness.
* Collaborate within Process Science and cross-functional teams (MSAT Manufacturing Support & Stewardship, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, TRD).
* Plan and prioritize laboratory work, ensuring standards and safety are maintained.
* Continuously develop your skills, improve performance, and contribute to team knowledge transfer.
* Propose and implement innovative technologies (e.g., PAT, SuS) to enhance manufacturing robustness.
* Build effective relationships with managers, colleagues, and team members.
* Ensure GMP, housekeeping, and safety standards are upheld per GSK guidelines.
* Participate in ad hoc projects (Process Robustness, Tech Transfer, Methods Development) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
Why you?
Basic Qualifications :
* Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy, or related scientific field with industry experience.
* Proven experience in process development support roles.
* Fluent in English and Italian, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications :
* Understanding of process development for small-scale vaccines/biologics, GMP, and regulatory considerations (not mandatory but advantageous).
