Activities:
1. Responsible for the development, integration application and validation of autonomous driving functions from concept to series production;
2. Focus on camera, radar and lidar-based systems;
3. Conception and specification of functions including their functional architecture with the help of model-based development methods;
4. Integration of development platforms, sensor technology and prototypical hardware and software in prototype vehicles;
5. Development and optimisation of new test processes, methods methods (simulative and reel) and strategies for the Safeguarding the innovative driving functions of tomorrow;
6. Function application, commissioning, and Troubleshooting on the test vehicle Technical contact person for customers, suppliers and development partners;
7. Co-development, planning and realisation of system and vehicle tests on the proving ground and on public roads;
8. Analysing measurement data and interpreting test results.
Requirements:
9. Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or information technology, mechatronics, automotive engineering or a comparable degree programme;
10. Very good overall technical understanding (system, software, hardware, function, etc.);
11. Good knowledge in the field of vehicle networking and architecture, as well as knowledge of bus systems such as CAN / FlexRay / Ethernet / etc;
12. Practical expertise in dealing with vehicle-specific measurement technology and data acquisition software, in particular CANape, CANoe and ADTF, are an advantage;
13. Very good knowledge of English;
14. Willingness to participate in commissioning and trials.
