Manager – Risk Management & Analytics
CRIF, a prestigious and innovative international group specializing in informational solutions, decision models, outsourcing, software, and consulting services to support banks, financial companies, insurance companies, utilities, and telecommunications companies, is seeking a Manager – Risk Management & Analytics.
The position operates within the Risk Consulting & Analytics team of CRIF's Analytics & Consulting Services practice, playing a pivotal role in driving innovative solutions for our clients across international markets. We are seeking a highly analytical and numerically adept professional with deep expertise in advanced analytics methodologies, particularly as they apply to credit and risk management and credit challenges in a global context.
The role will be responsible for leading the following key activities:
* Adopting a proactive and transformative mindset in the design and development of quantitative frameworks and advanced analytics pipelines.
* Conducting comprehensive analyses of clients' business challenges and architecting tailored solutions, including but not limited to AI and Gen-AI solutions, to address their specific needs.
* Overseeing projects to ensure the highest quality of deliverables, adherence to milestones, and the cultivation of lasting client relationships built on trust.
* Collaborating closely with clients to deliver robust robust credit and risk management solutions — such as rating models (i.e. AIRB systems), loss provisioning models (i.e. IFRS9 solutions), ESG C&E risk management solutions, ICAAP, etc. — and developing strategies that span the entire customer lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing management and collections.
* Leading and mentoring project teams, providing guidance and coaching to junior team members to foster professional growth and high performance.
* Supporting business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within existing and prospective client engagements.
* Developing new value propositions to deliver effective solutions for customers and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile and Key Requirements:
* Extensive experience in designing and developing analytical solutions to support executive-level decision-making, with a particular focus on credit and risk management applications (such as rating models, IFRS 9 impairment models, early warning systems, digital footprint analytics, anomaly detection engines, macroeconomic modelling, and scenario/what-if analysis, etc.).
* Demonstrated proficiency in applying advanced analytics and machine learning methodologies to solve complex business problems.
* A solid understanding of AI and gen-AI, including their main advantages and potential benefits.
* Strong numerical acumen, supported by a degree in disciplines such as Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
* Proven track record in the development and implementation of quantitative solutions within a professional environment.
* Comprehensive understanding of financial industry processes and key regulations.
* Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver engaging presentations and distil complex concepts for diverse audiences.
* Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
* Practical knowledge of leading statistical analysis software packages (such as SAS, R, Python, etc.).
* Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
