Further information is available on the Company’s websitePRIMARY FUNCTION:Within CHASSIS Purchasing team, the resource will be responsible for managing a complete product line in terms of both operative and strategical tasks.This includes:Suppliers selection and sourcing for assigned commodities. This includes RFQ activity, analysis of supplier responses and quotes and placing blanket purchase orders;Leading and facilitation of pricing negotiations Develop / implement supply base management strategies both regionally and globally that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time, delivery, and pricing;Support cost savings initiatives for commodity base;Support and resolve supplier issues such as accounts payable resolution, past due deliveries, and risks related to production lines and aftermarket customers.Support negotiation of basic contracts (GT&C, Supply Agreements, Development Agreements)Support Material Expediting for short term delivery issue and Capacity Management for mid/long term capacity issueREQUIRED SKILLS:E
