Ph3What will be your mission? /h3 pAs bHousekeeping Manager /b, you will lead and motivate a team tasked with ensuring consistent high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the hotel.br/You will be responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service, you will also monitor the financial performance of the Housekeeping department operation and the efficiency of the laundry service. /p h3What will you do? /h3 ul liPlan, schedule, and organize work to ensure proper coverage by the floor staff. /li liSupport floor staff in the cleaning and preparation of rooms, in case of urgency, incidence or need. /li liSupervise common areas (lobby, lounges, hallways, etc.) and hotel rooms prepared and cleaned by floor staff (owned or subcontracted companies). /li liPeriodically organize the general cleanings of the hotel as well as communicate to the maintenance department the elements to be fixed. /li liCollaborate with the front office department in the allocation of specific rooms based on the particular requirements or characteristics of the guests. /li liSupervise and organize of the guests’ lingerie, proceeding to its cleaning in the hotel, or identifying it to be sent to an external dry cleaner. /li liSupervise the inventory and control of all the flooring department materials (cleaning, amenities, etc.). /li liControl the expenses within all areas of housekeeping and participate in the preparation of the annual departmental budget. /li liDevelop and implement procedures for managing quality of housekeeping and laundry services. /li liHandle and monitor comments, suggestions and complaints from guests, creating and executing action plans. /li liSupervise and carry out the tasks of preventive sanitary hygiene maintenance. /li liRecruit, interview and train team members. /li liProvide supervision, feedback and recognition to the team members on their performance and development. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 ul liAt least 1-2 years’ experience developing similar functions preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. /li liHigh school diploma or equivalent education. /li liFluency in local language is a must and knowledge of English is highly valuable. /li liWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.). /li /ul h3Why choose us? /h3 pAt bMinor Hotels Europe Americas /b we are committed to shaping exciting careers worldwide and cross-cultural experiences.
