Sustainable MEP Design Expert
RINA is seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer to lead the development of sustainable MEP system designs from concept through detailed design. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, standards, and client specifications, producing engineering designs, providing construction support, and collaborating with various teams to resolve MEP system challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 4-5 years of experience in MEP systems design and development. Expertise in sustainable MEP design, producing detailed engineering drawings and calculations, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams is essential. Key skills include strategic perspective, network building, client focus, trustworthiness, decision-making, emotional intelligence, adaptability, sustainability advocacy, and forward-thinking.
You will be responsible for designing sustainable MEP systems that meet client needs and adhere to industry regulations. This involves developing and implementing sustainable design practices aligned with codes, client needs, and energy efficiency standards. Additionally, you will work with architects and structural engineers, support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) analyses, manage MEP project aspects, create schedules, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Finally, you will oversee quality assurance processes, conduct inspections and tests for installed systems, and ensure code compliance in all MEP designs and installations.
