Ph3Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract (strong potential for extension) /h3 pIrwin and Colton have been engaged by a client who are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee a major Data Centre project in Rome. This role is overseeing a major Principal Contractor operation, so experience working with or interacting with Tier 1 contractors or clients is highly desirable. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liRegularly visiting the site, advising operational managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the Health and Safety strategy. /li liConducting site audits to ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards. /li liPreparing and presenting HSE reports to the senior management team. /li liLeading accident investigations and incident reporting, including root cause analysis. /li liReviewing existing and new systems of work, identifying potential flaws or training needs to enhance the on-site safety culture. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liProven experience in a similar role within Data Centres, construction, or ME sectors. /li liA NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma, NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent), and ideally, Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH). /li liExcellent communication skills, with demonstrated success in engaging with clients and contractors. /li liStrong technical knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regulations. /li /ul h3The Ideal Candidate: /h3 pWe're looking for a self-starter who can lead by example and make an immediate impact.
