Key Activities & Responsibilities:The Civil & Structural Concrete Engineer is generally assigned to a project and he/she is in charge of producing documents anddeliverables assigned by the Civil Project Leader related to Concrete discipline (cast-in situ and precast). He/She reports to the Civil Project Leader or to the Concrete Specialist for the peculiarities of the project and to the Group Leader / Head of Department for man-hours assignment and quality of the deliverables.In particular main activities and duties will be:To guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions; to cooperatewith the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists to the coordination of the activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers; to manage design calculations, technical reports and specifications, to check drawings and documents relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader.to integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader; to check and approve Vendor’s document (i.E. subcontractor construction design documents, particularly related to precast Subcontractors); to guarantee assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader.to conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques; to keep himselfup-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline.Personal Attributes:Master’s degree in Civil engineering is preferred; from 5 to 7 years of experience in concrete design/coordination, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power or in a technical design office; good knowledge of European and international codes and standards; experience in Precast and or Pre-Stressed concrete structures; experience in working in engineering teams; good knowledge in AutoCad 2D drawings for modifying documents; user friendly in Autodesk Navisworks; knowledge of collaborative environment such as BIM360/ACC; fluent English speaker and writer is a must; availability totravel for short and long period; Plus:knowledge of FEM Civil & Structural Design Software, such as SAP2000, STAAD PRO; knowledge and use of Autodesk Revit; basic knowledgeof Project Management; international background
