Job Summary
Proposals engineer for custom‑made air compressor, dryer and nitrogen generation packages mostly focused in O&G market.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of technical and commercial proposals for compressed air and nitrogen generation systems for engineering projects, mainly in O&G sector.
* Analysis and evaluation of client technical specifications to develop tailored solutions and preliminary system designs.
* Selection and sizing of equipment from product portfolio, ensuring full compliance with technical and operational requirements.
* Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers to complete the integrated technical solution included in the proposal.
* Preparation of cost estimations and development of pricing structures for commercial offers.
* Development of technical and quality documentation required as part of the proposal package.
* Provision of technical support during clarification phases and bid evaluation (tabulation process).
* Direct interaction with Ingersoll Rand factories and engineering support teams, suppliers (both during the bidding stage and project execution), and end customers.
* Handover and coordination with execution teams upon project award, ensuring continuity and full understanding of the proposed solution throughout the engineering and implementation phases.
Basic Qualifications
* Preferably some type of technical education, either intermediate or higher level (preferably in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical, or Electrical).
* Languages: English level C1 or higher. Italian highly appreciated.
* Additional languages valued: French or German.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience working with databases and CRM software (SalesForce).
* Familiarity with AutoCAD.
* Availability for international travel (estimated 25% of the time).
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* High degree of autonomy, while also capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
* Fully site-based at Gorle, (BG).
* Occasional availability to travel if necessary is required.
