The Business Technology Leader (BTL) is responsible for driving the EMEA Supply Chain Delivery strategy through developing and implementing the technology roadmap across all segments.
As the IT Leader on the EMEA Deliver Leadership Team, this role manages a prioritized investment portfolio to accelerate business outcomes and operate as a digital organization. It also ensures a reliable, secure supply chain by modernizing core systems and accelerating digital transformation. This position is key in leading the end-to-end supply chain transformation.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Driving thought leadership in supply chain technology capabilities across EMEA Deliver SC, enabling differentiating capabilities as a competitive advantage through innovative technology solutions. This involves continuous learning of the latest technology and engaging with the external marketplace to ensure a sound business technology strategy and the ongoing introduction of new solutions.
* Representing SCT with key Deliver EMEA Supply Chain partners across all segments, working with senior business leaders to set and influence supply chain strategy and ensure alignment and partnership with SCT.
* Shaping and ensuring efficient delivery of the EMEA program portfolio that builds customer value swiftly and aligns with enterprise goals, including acquisitions and divestitures.
* Overseeing strategy, development, socialization, influence, and approval of business cases for Deliver EMEA technology projects. Collaborating with SCT Product Lines and Business leaders to ensure well-planned, metrics-driven business cases that are socialized and approved efficiently.
* Managing the EMEA Supply Chain technology-related financials and partnering to identify the value of JJT investments and benefits realization.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree required
* Minimum 12 years of leadership experience in Business Technology
* Ability to influence, negotiate, and connect with external customers and internal stakeholders, including executive leadership
* Deep understanding of business drivers and processes, with the ability to relate priorities to technology investments
* End-to-end Supply Chain knowledge preferred
* Knowledge of digital, data & analytics, customer experience, and innovative technology trends preferred
* Industry experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or consumer packaged goods preferred
* Experience managing large, complex budgets and constructing business cases with benefits tracking
* Proven track record of operational efficiencies and delivering financial commitments
* Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a collaborative, service-oriented approach
* Ability to assess business impacts of solutions and communicate tradeoffs effectively
