Principal Duties and Responsabilities:
* To bring industry knowledge, world class capabilities, innovation and cutting-edge technology to our clients in the capital projects industry to deliver business value.
* Work with leading clients across industries such as Data Centre, Semi-Conductors, Public Infrastructure, Utilities, Oil & Gas to deliver capital projects excellence.
* Help in planning, monitoring and control for mega/large capital projects by providing valuable insights to client to ensure projects are executed in time, within budget with the right quality and sustainability.
* Assist clients in one or more areas of Planning & Scheduling, Cost Management, Data Analytics & Reporting, Contract Management and Capex procurement.
* Coordinate/liaison with various internal and external stakeholders across the capital projects lifecycle to generate meaningful reports and apply analytical tools to carve out insights through reports, periodic reviews and meetings.
* Work with leading software platforms MS Projects, Primavera, Prism, Unifier, ProCore, Ecosys including implementation of solutions across the Lifecyle
* Develop Project Specific deliverables such as Operating Model, Risk Register, Communication Matrix, Project Governance, PEP, specific Process & Procedures etc.
* Help shape, sell and deliver projects that create tangible value – including current state assessments, seeing opportunities to increase efficiency, and developing solutions, business case and roadmaps to achieve the right value led outcomes for the client.
* Design future ways of working – operating models, business functions and processes, and technology, whilst working closely with business and technology strategists, process owners and subject matter experts.
* Responsible for managing the risk governance in entire project lifecycle and support for developing the mitigation strategies along with implement of contingency plans.
* Evaluate and manage changes to the project scope, assess the impact of changes on budget and schedule and communicate the changes effectively to all stakeholders.
* Prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders, captured lesson learned for continuous improvement.
* Design and implement client’s digital strategies including digital architecture within given timeframe and budget requirement.
Qualifications:
* Engineering Degree (Tier-1 institutes)
* MBA / PGDM (preferred)
Experience:
* 2-5 years for Analyst and 6-8 years of experience for Consultant in Project Management & Execution for Capital Projects with strong understanding of managed services in Capital Build.
* Experience of large-scale capital projects across Industry groups & geographie.
* Experience in direct client facing role in Management Consulting firm having significant exposure on Project Management, Project Controls and Software/Tool Implementation.
* The individual must be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the C Suite executives.
* Preferred: Experience in various Construction Methodologies as well as planning resource utilization for optimized execution.
* Preferred: Experience in visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView etc. is an added advantage.
* Experience in MS-Excel, MS- PowerPoint is mandatory. Additional experience in VB Scripts, Macros experience will be preferred.
Key Competences & Skills:
* Demonstrate expertise across one or more of following areas: implement digital tools and digital strategies for the clients; knowledge of End-to-End Business Process & Workflows; knowledge of end-to-end Capital Projects with focus on Schedule, Cost, Reporting and Risk management; use of data analytics to analyze and provide analytical data solutions.
* End-to-end knowledge of project planning, monitoring and control (cost and / or schedule) from conceptualization to commissioning across Industries.
* Development of Project Status Dashboards, Red Flag Reports, Schedule Analysis & other various MIS reports covering major project progress aspects & criticalities.
* Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
* Willingness to maintain a flexible travel schedule subject to updated return to office plans and client expectations.
* Willingness to work in different time zones to collaborate with offshore resources from other geographies.
* Excellent communication, analytics and organizational skills.
