Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance & Food Safety Specialist to temporarily replace a maternity leave in our QA & FS department. The estimated period is 6 months. Key Responsibilities Support the FSQR Manager in implementing and executing the company’s quality policy. Maintain and update the Quality and Food Safety Manual. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and revise procedures and work instructions, ensuring compliance with certification requirements. Conduct internal audits and hygiene inspections to verify food safety and operational standards. Collaborate with the Purchasing Department on supplier qualification processes and annual evaluations. Perform risk assessments on raw materials in collaboration with R&D. Act as the primary contact for customer quality questionnaires and third-party audits. Manage customer complaints, non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Audit suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance with quality and food safety standards. Prepare and update product data sheets and labels according to regulatory requirements. Maintain and update the database system (GPMS) for traceability and documentation tracking. Work closely with R&D to verify the legal compliance of sampled products. Requirements Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken). Strong attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry. Knowledge of quality management systems and food safety standards.
