They will be adept at translating and communicating complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications, and bring hands-on experience with store operations to help optimise workflows and support digital transformation at the retail level. /ppThis role requires a strategic thinker with a practical mindset—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates confidently across teams, and is passionate about driving innovation and continuous improvement in the retail space. /ppKey Responsibilities: /pulliElicit, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across retail, technology, and commercial functions to understand operational challenges. /liliTranslate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, or functional specifications for development teams and third-party partners. /liliApply in-depth knowledge of cash flow, inventory, promotions, and the customer journey to shape practical, effective retail solutions and optimise retail processes. /liliAnalyse and model existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement using lean principles and process modelling tools (e.g. BPMN, UML). /liliSupport the design, development and delivery of technology projects across store systems, POS, supply chain, and digital platforms. /liliProvide input into project planning and delivery timelines; help ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to specification. /liliMaintain clear, up-to-date documentation and support materials for internal teams and clients. /liliWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proposed solutions align with both business goals and technical constraints. /li /ulp***The successful candidate will travel to regional customer sites (50%) and should therefore be comfortable commuting as required to meet business needs and objectives*** /ppHow is success measured?
