Human by nature.- As a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator you will lead the operation of our treatment plant in - Caronno Pertusella site with the objective to maintain full compliance to environmental regulations.Reporting to the Environment, Health and Safety Manager, you will: - Conduct, based on the received directives, the operation of the industrial wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with the limits set by the current Environmental permit; - Collect and organize data relating to the treatment plant, and maintain records of the interventions and operations; - Fill periodic reports about the status of the plant and the operating parameters, ensuring that the machines, and equipment are maintained efficient; - Manage chemical products (additives) and the small laboratory related to the plant, ensuring their availability and managing any purchase requests; - Identify maintenance needs and verify the correct execution of them, ensuring compliance with scheduled maintenance and sludge disposal; - Ensure the identification and proposal of corrective measures to be adopted to maintain the correct functioning of the system and the characteristics of the discharged water following the applicable legislation; - Collaborate in the identification of any plant interventions aimed at improving the efficiency of the plant; - Take in charge the movement of chemical products and sludge relating to the wastewater treatment plant using a forklift; - Support the EHS manager in supervising and conducting internal audits; - Support the EHS manager in the execution of the monitoring plan prescribed by the current permit; - Support the EHS manager in training workers by conducting safety meetings with workers and in general in spreading the culture of safety in the company; - Observe the provisions and instructions given by the employer, managers and supervisors (Legislative Decree 81/08 articles 2 and 20); - Respect our HSE procedures established for the work department, without carrying out actions, on one's own initiative, that could create dangerous situations; - Use personal protective equipment (PPE); - Participate in HSE training activities organized by our organization; - Submit to the health surveillance required for carrying out the job; - Immediately interrupt the activity in case of dangerous situations, promptly notifying them to your line manager.
