Job Description
This position will be a key member of the Bu Sourcing Team. As a member of this team, you will be shaping the future of Datalogic’s success in launching new product in the Market by participating to the NPD process.
Role Mission
1. Lead and coordinate BU sourcing activities and processes during new product development .
2. Supports the sourcing team in ensuring that quality, cost and timely launch of specific new products are fully met through Procurement contribution.
Key Responsibilities
3. Manage BU sourcing activities and processes during new product development (NPD).
4. Supervise the achievement of supplier quality, cost and delivery targets and execution of Sourcing and Procurement actions in each Project Delivery along product lifecycle
5. Apply commodity sourcing strategy for project components
6. Identify make or buy analysis
7. Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure good, reliable sources of supply and information
8. Cost estimates and related forecasts
9. Lead and Coordinate BU purchasing support in products lifecycle management & Productivity actions.
10. Productivity actions related to alternative suppliers and redesign are led or co-led and properly tracked
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Economics is mandatory. A Master's degree in these fields are a plus.
• Languages: Italian (main language), English (fluency required for this position)
• Experience: minimum 3-5 years of experience in structured companies in Procurement Org with a good knowhow in electronic or electromechanical market. Coming from industrial sectors such as industrial automation or automotive is a plus

12. SAP: Knowledge of SAP is a plus
13. EXECEL & POWER POINT: Excellent knowledge of the Office package with particular focus on Excel. Very Good knowledge of PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
