Roles and Responsibilities
* Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the quality management for the Avenza and Kollsnes sites according to ISO 9001 requirements
* Responsible for coordinating internal workstation audits and external audits
* Conduct internal quality management systems & process Audits
* Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating QMS procedures and work instructions through extensive collaborations with all functions.
* Revise standard work to mitigate and prevent product & process quality defects
* Drive and influence the organization at all levels towards a “zero defect” culture.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in engineering or equivalent experience
* Some experience in a quality assurance role, preferable within the turbomachinery/aviation industries
* Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
* Basic knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies and ISO 9001:2015 standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to influence and work cross functionally, acting as a “glue” among departments
Desired Characteristics
* Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace or Aviation industry or experience in manufacturing engineering in Aerospace, Aviation or Oil and Gas field.
* Prior experience with ISO 9001:2015
* Demonstrated expertise to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization
