Job Title: Service Operations Intern Type of contract: 6-month extracurricular internship Location: Genova, Italy Join our Service Operations team, which focuses on improving service delivery by analyzing performance, supporting process improvements, and ensuring quality across operations. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work on key initiatives like performance monitoring, quality issue management, and stakeholder collaboration in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Support monitoring and analysis of service performance data. - Assist in creating dashboards and reports to highlight trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. - Assist with administrative tasks related to IT Service Management, change requests, and case tracking. - Support the documentation of quality-related activities and regulatory compliance processes. - Collaborate on initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance service quality. - Help document and implement new processes for better operational efficiency. - Work with internal teams and interact with Philips global service stakeholders. Requirements: - Education: Technical School (IT background preferred) or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Basic technical knowledge in software/hardware solutions, including Windows OS, servers, storage, and troubleshooting. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills in Italian and English. - Knowledge of networking, monitoring tools, databases, virtualization, and scripting languages would be a plus. - Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
