A protagonist in major global strategic programs, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the CTO Land & Sea – Lob NAS (Naval Systems) organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for an R&D System Engineer for our Rome Tiburtina office.The person will mainly deal with the following activities:* Support for the management of national and international Research and Development projects, with a particular focus on European calls in the Maritime sector* Contribution to the drafting of technical and project documentation (studies, designs, reports)* Coordination activities between project teams and internal company technical functions* Support in the preparation of project proposals for funding calls and subsequent execution* Participation in experimental activities and interaction with institutional stakeholders* Support for the logistical and organizational planning of experimental activities**Educational qualifications:*** Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics or similar STEM subjects)**Seniority:*** **Junior**: 1-3 years of experience; **Technical knowledge and skills:*** Ability to analyze command, control and communication architectures* Knowledge of the operating principles of unmanned systems and their components* Understanding of the maritime and underwater operational context and the main integration challenges* Basic knowledge of software architectures and distributed systems (client/server)* Knowledge of data formats and application communication protocols (e.G.
