The Operations Manager will provide regular and appropriate performance information to STERIS Managers / Directors and ensure compliance to all relevant Company and legal regulations. /p h3Duties /h3 ul liEnsure safe operations of the plant and company by developing an effective safety culture and enforcing safety practices in compliance with internal and external requirements and regulations. /li liIn conjunction with the (Senior) Sales Managers, ensure the effective management of existing and new Customers and drive Customer satisfaction. /li liProvide leadership to ensure continuous improvement of business processes and activities in line with STERIS world‑class safety objectives and the Quality Management System. /li liManage and develop 14 staff, allocate resources and assign specific duties to achieve pre‑determined commercial and business objectives for the business in the plant. /li liEnsure that the business operates within and towards the published STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives including LEAN 5S, Sustainability and One Team One Goal strategies. /li liApply STERIS Values culture and ethos when managing the business, its Customers and staff. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul liDemonstrated team leadership experience even at an early career level. /li liProven technical capability. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liProven leadership qualities (leading by example). /li liAcute awareness of the importance of safety to the business. /li liWilling to go the extra mile for our Customers (Customer First always). /li liGood understanding of the principle of continuous improvement. /li liWell‑developed understanding of risk and risk avoidance. /li liExcellent communication skills (both oral and written). /li liGood understanding of the local business market; some exposure to the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries would be a distinct advantage. /li liSignificant decision‑making or problem‑solving authority. /li liEnglish language: B1 level. /li /ul h3Key Skills /h3 ul liSix Sigma, Lean, Management Experience, Process Improvement, Microsoft Outlook, Analysis Skills, Warehouse Management System, Operations Management, Kaizen, Leadership Experience, Supervising Experience, Retail Management /li /ul h3Employment Details /h3 ul liEmployment Type: Full Time /li liVacancy: 1 /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
