For prestigious company operating in plastic sector, Envolve Consulting, indipendent company specialized in management serch, is searching for a Process Engineer.
Role description
Ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality conveyor belts that meet the diverse needs of customers across various industries, in compliance with all the technological aspects of manufacturing processes, in collaboration with all other departments (Quality, Application Engineering, Lean).
Main tasks and responsibilities
* Check the feasibility and reproducibility of what the customer requests (in collaboration with the Application Engineers)
* Prototype, develop and industrialise ad hoc solutions for customers in collaboration with the transversal functions (Marketing and Application Engineering) and defines the best cost / benefit ratio
* Define and qualify the manufacturing process and fabrication materials according to specifications
* Define, maintain and improve methods, standard tools, equipment and processes in terms of quality and productivity
* Analyse defective products returned by customers and internal waste deriving from manufacturing processes and supports the adoption to the necessary improvement actions (in collaboration with the Quality department and the Fabrication Manager)
* Identify, in collaboration with Quality dept, suppliers quality issues
* Collaborate in defining the most suitable production methods and interfaces with the Fabrication Manager for plant feasibility checks
* Responsible for the periodic review of processes both from a technical and an industrial point of view, giving also support, if necessary
* Collaborate in the design of new tools and/or machines for manufacturing
* Collaborate in the maintenance and definition of work cycles
* Work in compliance with the laws and regulations (GMP, QSM, HS&E)
Education and experience
Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
5-10 years of experience in the same role in manufacturing companies
