As we prepare for our imminent reopening, we are seeking an HR Supervisorto join our HR Team.
Role Description:
As HR Supervisor, you’ll support the Human Resources function by ensuring the smooth daily operation of all HR activities and compliance with company policies and Italian labor law. You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performance workplace culture, assisting the HR Manager in all administrative and operational matters related to employees and their experience at San Clemente Palace Venice.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes for all hotel departments
* Coordinating training sessions, maintaining training records, and assisting with performance management activities
* Preparing HR reports, maintaining personnel files, and updating HR databases
* Ensuring compliance with labor regulations, internal procedures, and brand standards
* Assisting with payroll preparation and time & attendance tracking
* Promoting employee engagement through communication initiatives and internal events
* Serving as a point of contact for staff inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
* Supporting the HR Manager in implementing HR projects and strategic initiatives
* Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in an HR support or supervisory role, ideally within luxury hospitality
* Strong knowledge of Italian labor law and HR administrative processes
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality in a multicultural environment
* Positive attitude, flexibility, and a genuine passion for people
* Fluent in Italian and English (other languages are an advantage)
* Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and HR software systems
