Job Overview

We are searching for the best talent for Analyst Demand Planning to work in Pomezia, Roma, Italy. The Demand Planner is responsible for translating market signals into actionable plans that ensure product availability, inventory optimization, and high customer service levels across the portfolio. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory, and Central Supply Planning teams to support the Integrated Business Planning process and manages product lifecycle changes.

As part of DePuy Synthes, this position may transition to the standalone orthopaedics company following the anticipated separation. Any planned changes will be communicated in accordance with applicable procedures.


Responsibilities

* Facilitate consensus forecasting with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain stakeholders, supporting with inputs and analysis on market events and customer inputs to identify demand drivers.
* Support the monthly IBP cycle with demand assumptions, scenarios, risks, and recommendations.
* Closely work with Central Planning to ensure required service levels, inventory health, and execute corrective actions.
* Review and optimize safety stock levels to balance customer demand requirements and healthy inventory levels, anticipating impacts from new product introductions (NPI).
* Support NPI launches, PIPO, and LCM product management.
* Collaborate with Supply Planning to mitigate shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence risks.
* Provide reports, dashboards, and tools to the Central team during Demand Reviews.
* Provide descriptive and predictive analytical support for the broader Demand Planning organization.
* Support and evaluate new methodologies and technologies to enhance demand plan accuracy.


Qualifications

* The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics or equivalent with proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles.
* 1–2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
* Experience with forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis, and demand planning processes.
* Knowledge of ERP and planning systems such as SAP, JDE, or similar tools.
* Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a cross‑functional environment.
* Fluency in English.
* High attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
* Knowledge of IBP processes and demand review governance.

Salary and Benefits

Anticipated base pay range: €33,700.00 – €54,395.00.

In addition to base pay, we offer an annual bonus with a set target (percentage of pay) depending on pay grade and location, as well as sales commissions.
