On behalf of our Client, a well-established International Company, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Projects Accountant to be based in Nicosia. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Projects Accountant to be based in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts
2. Assist in analysing the actual vs budget monthly financial reports
3. Provide input to and assist the annual budget processes
4. Provide input and assist in monitoring the expenses in all locations
5. Assist in preparing consolidated detailed expenses departmental reports
6. Ensure compliance of company's “Business Policies & Practices”
7. Undertake other responsibilities at the request of the Projects Accountants Manager as well as assist where possible on the day-to-day finance related activities.
8. Assist the Development officers by providing monthly income and expenses reports
9. Assist in drafting projects budget
10. Monitor and ensure the sound financial management of company's projects
11. Provide project financial reports with explanations on project variances
12. Ensure compliance with donor requirements on financial issues for the grants
13. Supports the Development Team staff on all financial reporting requirements to different donors
CANDIDATE PROFILE
14. University degree in Business Administration, Economics and/or Accounting and Finance or any other related field
15. Practical knowledge and experience in Accounting
16. Good knowledge of Finance systems
17. Excellent command of English, written and oral.
18. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Ppt)
