Role Description
The Project Manager (PM) plays a central role in ensuring the successful execution of the project. Acting as the single point of contact for all official communications with the customer, the PM holds full responsibility and authority to meet all project requirements. This includes overseeing the planning, scheduling, and control of project activities. By coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and managing risks, the PM ensures that project objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Manage all project activities with a focus on safety, security, logistics and the environment.
* Responsible of the planning, execution and closing of assigned projects in line with stated scope and cost, time and quality standards/objectives.
* Ensure that the Customer, contract and organizational requirements are implemented throughout the Project Lifecycle.
* Ensure schedule/cost adherence and control, and manage scope creep.
* Ensure invoicing meets contract requirements and accounts payable are fulfilled timely.
* Ensure progress while maximizing benefits, avoiding/mitigate extra costs, and manage project risks.
* Prepare request for quotation. Prepare and present the project dashboard monthly to Management.
* Prepare and maintain the risk and opportunity file. Responsible for the claim/NC management of the project.
* Manage relationships with the client during project execution.
Requirements
* Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering ( preference for a degree in mechanical or energy engineering ) .
* Experience of 4/5 years on Project Management role in Chemical, Power, Oil and Gas or Waste to Energy industry business.
* English fluent in speaking and writing are mandatory, other language skill will be considered as a plus.
* Available to travel abroad.
* Experience in contractual analysis.
* Competency in engineering /management computer application (i.e Ms office, Microsoft Project, SAP, etc.).
