A House Manager at Lion in the Sun
As House Manager, you will be the heart of the house, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional service, and a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure. This is a visible leadership role, working closely with all departments to deliver a refined, warm, and discreet luxury experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Guest Experience
Own the full guest journey, ensuring a personalised and memorable stay
Deliver warm, intuitive, and discreet service aligned with international luxury standards
Proactively manage guest feedback and resolve issues with care and efficiency
Operations & House Oversight
Oversee daily operations across rooms, spa, and public areas
Coordinate butlers, front office, and key operational functions
Act as the main point of connection between departments
Restaurant & F&B Coordination
Ensure restaurant operations support and enhance the overall guest experience
Work closely with FOH and BOH leadership
Monitor and report on F&B-related guest feedback
People & Service Culture
Supervise, motivate, and guide butlers and front-of-house teams
Ensure optimal staffing levels and service coverage
Support training, service standards, and attention to detail
House Readiness & Supplies
Ensure the house is always guest-ready, from presentation to functionality
Manage operational supplies, stock levels, and supplier coordination
Liaise with maintenance to ensure high standards are consistently met
Reporting & Commercial Awareness
Track key operational KPIs and guest satisfaction metrics
Develop a solid understanding of costs and basic P&L principles
Report clearly and consistently to corporate management
Who are you?
An energetic and highly guest-oriented hospitality professional
Experience in luxury hotels, boutique properties, or premium lifestyle brands
Strong attention to detail and a natural service mindset
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A clear ambition to grow into a General Manager role
Strong understanding of international luxury travel expectations
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
