Learn more at www.Vishay.com.Technician QC Failure Analysis.In this position, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical failure analysis, on customer returns and internal ones, to identify root causes of product issues. You will prepare failure analysis reports, recommend corrective actions and collaborate with other departments.Job Location:Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.What you will be doing: Evaluate the electrical and mechanical characteristics of the products to determine the cause of failure, especially in case of Customer Returns.* Selects and applies appropriate tests for parts, materials or products, and utilizes the respective lab test equipment.* Prepare and analyze failure reports for the Customer or Corporate QA and recommend internal corrective action based on their analysis.* Provide advanced in-depth and specialized analysis when failure cases are complex and interrelated.* Develop methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process.What you will bring along: Technical diploma or vocational qualification in electronics or a related field.* Basic to good knowledge of chemical processes and materials used in semiconductor industry.* Strong problem-solving attitude.* Positive and collaborative teamwork mindset.* High level of precision, attention to detail, and good understanding of process flow.What can we offer you for your talent:Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
