Job title: SALES ASSOCIATE at NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM)
Location: Italy-Caserta-Gricignanodi Aversa. Schedule: Flexible (0 - 19.5 hours). Unposting date: Oct 10, 2025, 10:59 PM. Primary location: Gricignano.
No Experience Required. High School Graduate Or Equivalent Preferred.
Responsibilities
* CUSTOMER SERVICE - Proactively engage and make a connection with customers. Ask questions and listen to customers’ needs. Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers.
* STAR CARD - Provide premier customer service. Cooperate and build positive, inclusive, respectful relationships; take accountability for actions and outcomes.
* ORGANIZATION - Maintain store appearance.
* SALES - Cross-sell products and know the store layout. Make suggestions to customers on latest trends and current promotions based on individual needs. Upsell products. Learn product features and stay updated on trends; leverage company tools to provide product knowledge and specs.
* USE OF POS SYSTEM - Process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit/debit cards; handle cash including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customers.
* INVENTORY - Be the keeper of merchandise, complete all inventory processes, ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed; may participate in periodic inventories.
* DEPENDABILITY - Adhere to assigned work schedule; ensure accurate and complete follow-through on work assignments; perform Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE - Basic knowledge of products and merchandise.
* EXPERIENCE - Retail experience preferred but not required.
* COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; able to read, write, and interpret instructional documents; effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management; telephone etiquette.
* MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
* REASONING ABILITY - Ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and take initiative with minimal supervision.
* PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT - Ability to move, talk, hear, reach, stand for extended periods; lifting 25-50 lbs; indoor/outdoor work depending on location.
* OTHER SKILLS - Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a desire to provide outstanding service.
