Business Analyst – PCP Information Systems (IS) We help industries operate more efficiently and sustainably. As a Business Analyst for PCP Information Systems (IS), you will support, enhance, and innovate solutions for R&D, Product Management, and Go‑to‑Market processes. You will act as a liaison, translating stakeholder needs into requirements and working from project initiation to completion. Work model: hybrid at the given locations. Your Role and Responsibilities
Primary Business Process Owner and SPOC for R&D, Product Management and Go‑to‑Market Processes Capture and document pain points, risks, opportunities, requirements, and use cases Act as the bridge between business and IT, translating processes and requirements into clear, actionable specifications for the IS community Guide and support IS project teams, IS Application Managers, and Application Process Managers for related R&D applications, tools, and process improvements, including mandatory security and compliance assessments Lead, coach, or support future projects to improve PLM‑linked processes within PCP as required Communicate status and health of existing or new processes and projects to management Assist in Request for Proposal / Information (RFP/RFI) – manage bids from external or internal vendors for upcoming projects or solutions
Qualifications for the Role
6–8 years of relevant professional experience Strong knowledge of R&D business processes related to product lifecycle management and go‑to‑market Good listener and communicator with technical R&D and L3–L4 support personnel to build trust Strong requirements management and change management skills Experience managing or working in a virtual team, driving or supporting projects, and understanding the demands of large, globally distributed R&D and IS teams Fluency in written and spoken English Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems (IS) or an engineering degree in Electrical or a similar field required Knowledge of PTC Windchill PLM technology (or equivalent) or willingness to learn the basics Understanding of the automation industry or an interest in developing this knowledge Experience in defining and driving IT projects for R&D process improvements, or readiness to learn and contribute in this area
