Define and maintain the overall hardware/software architecture for satellites, payloads, avionics platforms, and related space systemsTranslate mission and customer requirements into architecture specifications, interface definitions, and design roadmapsLead trade-off analyses across performance, power, mass, reliability, redundancy, radiation tolerance, and costArchitect onboard computing platforms, embedded software stacks, FPGA/SoC solutions, and subsystem communication flowsEnsure consistency across hardware, firmware, software, middleware, and ground segment interfacesSupport modelling, simulation, prototyping, integration, and verification activitiesReview ICDs, compliance matrices, verification plans, and technical documentationCollaborate with systems, electronics, embedded software, AIV, mechanical, and mission operations teamsProvide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the program lifecycle
Requirements
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or related fieldStrong experience in hardware/software architecture within space, aerospace, defense, or other high-integrity embedded environmentsBackground in space systems engineering, avionics, embedded platforms, onboard data handling, or flight software architectureSolid knowledge of embedded systems, RTOS, firmware, low-level drivers, and hardware/software co-designExperience with processor-based architectures, digital electronics, FPGA/SoC platforms, and subsystem integrationGood knowledge of ECSS standards, verification & validation, configuration management, and reliability engineeringFamiliarity with fault tolerance, FDIR, redundancy concepts, and cybersecurity constraintsExcellent communication skills in English
