The Corporate Security Lead is responsible for ensuring the holistic safety and security of a employees, assets, and operations. The resource will primarily focus on developing and implementing security policies and procedures, coordinating security personnel, and identifying and assessing potential risks. This includes:
Setting up the function and implementing Vodafone Corporate Security policies & best practice in Vodafone Automotive
Direct responsibility for all Corporate Security operational activities and advice across Vodafone Automotive business and function
Sponsor and coordinator of local Corporate Security agenda
Support the engagement with external stakeholders on Vodafone Automotive operational Corporate Security matters
Manage and support law enforcement requests in all Vodafone Automotive markets
Mitigating all types of threats, ensuring compliance with broader regulations, and managing the overall Corporate Security posture, often reporting to leadership
Overseeing guards, developing emergency plans, managing risk across departments, and aligning corporate security with business goals
Work hand-in-hand with IT Security, Legal, Property, Procurement, HR and business functions
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Leading support to Vodafone Automotive (as required) in all operational matters regarding:
Business Resilience (Business Continuity & Crisis Management, Personal and asset Security)
Fraud Management
Supplier security
Investigations
Security Awareness
Law Enforcement
Responsible for the production and delivery of local strategies, internal policies, advice and consultancy in the above functional areas in line with Group policies and local laws
Secretary to the Vodafone Automotive Crisis Management Team
Supporting the reporting manager to engage on these issues with governments, international organizations and NGOs.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Highly developed leadership skills, especially in an international environment
Experience of the full range of corporate security risks and mitigation strategies, processes and systems
Previous experience with NIS or NIS2 implementation
Effective communication and influence skills, deployable at all levels of the organization in a matrix structure
Fluent in English, Italian as a plus
Ability to act coolly and effectively as the leader in fast-moving and complex security operations
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Professional and/or academic qualifications in operational security risk management or significant relevant experience operating at a senior level in an operational security environment
Nice to have:
CBCI / CBCP – Certified Business Continuity, ISO or other certifications relevant in the field
