Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, the Group is among the global top-ranking engineering contractors. Overview Position: Construction Manager (on-site). Reports to the Site Manager. The Construction Manager coordinates all Discipline Supervisors in managing Subcontractor activities, updates and develops detailed Construction schedules, optimizes sequences, and replaces the Site Manager in the latter’s absence. The role requires availability to perform on-site activities. Responsibilities Ensure the implementation of the HSE management system at site with particular reference to their area of operation. Organize and lead, with the relevant AST and Superintendent/Supervisors, weekly meetings with discipline Subcontractors. Participate in construction meetings with the Client. Promote field revisions of the detailed Construction Schedule. Verify the congruity of works with technical specifications. Verify material delivery schedules to coordinate construction activities and optimize the relevant schedule. With the collaboration of the Site Control Manager, prepare detailed schedules and define priorities. Check that schedules are kept and promote recovery plans in case of delay. Coordinate all site activities, particularly interfaces between Disciplines, to limit work overlaps. Assist and cooperate with Supervisors in the ordinary management of subcontracts, define extra-works, and execute changes during the works. With the Commissioning Manager, ensure congruence between the completion of Construction and Plant Pre-commissioning. Collaborate with the Contract Engineer in preparing changes and claims. Prepare his own section of routine work progress reports. Perform discipline quality inspection according to the Inspection Plan and procedures in liaison with the QAE; coordinate Area superintendents as required on particular projects.
