We are seeking a talented Global Purchasing Manager Finished Goods AFM, to join our Purchasing of the position:The role leads and coordinates the Global Aftermarket Purchasing Team, working closely with the Global Purchasing Manager to manage and develop strategic suppliers.
Key responsibilities include driving cost reduction initiatives (Cost Out projects), identifying and developing new strategic suppliers, supporting supplier negotiations, and managing the procurement of new product lines and new SKUs within the NPI process.
The role also supports S&OP; initiatives and cross-functional supply chain projects to ensure alignment across the DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise the request for quotation (RFQ) process.Prepare sourcing approval recommendationsSupervision of request for sourcing approval of commodity strategies and sourcing activities.Define contracts with vendors and suppliers on pricing, lead time and terms of agreementWork with SQE to set suppliers approval process.Analyze spend for savings opportunities (internal and external).
Manage local teams and monitor Global Cost Out Projects.
Maintain consistent communication with suppliers (sampling) and Dayco engineering (testing) to ensure that new SKUs or COPs SKUs are approved.Interface between suppliers and engineering/operations/marketing to answer any questions related to RFQ.Search and development of current and new suppliers.
.Set and monitor KPIs (cost savings, payment terms, Supplier scorecards).
Work with buyers to Maintain supplier profiles, supplier scorecards, supplier capabilities, supply agreements & contract files, price lists (through Suppliers Portal where active).
Coordinate the Suppliers Portal Administrator to keep the tool effective and updatedSupport buyers to resolves any blocked invoices and resolve discrepancies related to price or quantity differences.Support buyers to work with PMs to support the procurement of new SKUs (NPI process).
