As Production Manager, reporting to the Plant Director, you will be responsible for : Managing and supervising the entire production process, ensuring it aligns with the schedule and is cost-effective. Managing and supervising the production workforce (both direct and indirect), including skills matrix and training needs in collaboration with HR. Organizing production resources and defining resource requirements. Monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as necessary. Ensuring standards and quality-control programs are implemented. Achieving plant targets related to safety, quality, service level, and efficiency, in coordination with other departments such as HSE, quality, logistics, industrial engineering, maintenance, HR, and controlling. Leading Autonomous Management (AM) or Workplace Organization (WO) within the World Class Manufacturing framework. Organizing repair and routine maintenance of production equipment by the workforce. Leading, supervising, and motivating the production team. Possessing an engineering degree with 5-7 years of experience in similar manufacturing roles. Demonstrating strong people management, teamwork, coaching, and motivation skills. Utilizing production management tools like daily meetings, reporting, problem-solving, skill matrix management, 5S, autonomous maintenance, etc. Having good knowledge of safety and environmental concepts as applied to production. Understanding cost and performance accounting basics. Having knowledge of World Class Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding core production processes such as metal stamping, welding, enameling, painting, polyurethane injection, assembly, and automation. Familiarity with Time & Method studies methodologies. Exhibiting strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, stress management, decision-making, communication, and entrepreneurial skills. Fluent in Italian and English.
