They collaborate with Sponsors, clinical, and statistics teams to develop data collection specifications from all data sources. /ppThe Senior Data Manager oversees in-stream data flow activities, delivers a quality database according to the project plan, leads and drives the data management team, and acts as the primary contact for the Sponsor and the project’s data management lead. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDrive achievement of project milestones from study start-up to database delivery. /liliContribute data management input into study protocols. /liliDesign Case Record Forms and guide their approval process. /liliDevelop Data Management and Validation Plans, including annexes like Reconciliation Plans. /liliValidate databases and perform computerized checks, including SAS listings. /liliFor EDC studies, define UAT plans and execute testing to ensure quality eCRFs. /liliRespond promptly to issues from the eCRF Helpdesk. /liliPrepare CRF completion and data entry guidelines, and train staff accordingly. /liliPerform term coding and manual query generation as needed. /liliManage data queries, discrepancies, and cleaning processes. /liliCreate and test import programs for external data. /liliIntegrate and reconcile external data sources. /liliMonitor data progress reports and escalate issues. /liliDefine and execute QC plans, lead database release activities. /liliLead and coordinate the DM team, assign work, and prioritize tasks. /liliContribute to study project planning and communication with stakeholders. /liliEnsure compliance with SOPs, industry standards, and quality procedures. /liliRecommend process improvements and develop standards. /liliMaintain contact networks within the study team and with sponsors. /liliRepresent Data Management in meetings and other activities. /li /ulh3Qualifications Experience /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience. /liliKnowledge of data management processes and industry guidelines (ICH, GCP). /liliExperience with coding dictionaries like MedDRA and WHO-DD. /liliProficiency in DM systems and MS Office Suite. /li /ulh3Skills /h3ulliProfessionalism, trustworthiness, and quality focus. /liliEffective prioritization, learning agility, and teamwork. /liliConflict management, problem-solving, and technical writing skills. /liliNetworking and language skills as applicable. /li /ulh3Education /h3pBSc in Biology, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy preferred. /ph3Contract Type /h3pRegular /ph3About Alira Health /h3pAlira Health is a global advisory firm committed to humanizing healthcare and life sciences through innovative technologies and expert guidance, supporting clients across the entire solutions lifecycle. /ph3Why Work at Alira Health? /h3pWe offer a vibrant, creative environment with benefits including professional development, global travel, flexible work programs, and more.
