Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our Business Development team. This role involves driving growth, expanding Retex’s clientele by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and negotiating and closing deals.
The Role You Will Play:
1. Strategic Vision: Lead Retex’s growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, positioning Retex as a key partner in marketing and communication across our offerings.
2. Industry Expertise: Analyze industries, attract relevant prospects, and coordinate research, monitoring, and audits with relevant directors to stay ahead of industry trends.
3. Client-Centric Approach: Promote our products and services by understanding and addressing clients’ objectives, developing tailored value propositions, and building rapport through a consultative approach.
4. Sales Excellence: Develop sales strategies, identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, and negotiate deals to drive sales from planning to closure.
5. Project Management: Oversee marketing and communication projects, ensuring successful execution and high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
Requirements
While you may not have all, we believe you would excel with these characteristics:
* At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience with clients in sectors like Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.
* Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to drive the process from planning to closing.
* Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2), enabling effective collaboration.
* Proactive, organized, and able to build rapport internally and externally.
