PThe NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is seeking specialized advisory services to enhance our interim workforce capacity. Our agency is dedicated to acquiring, deploying, and defending communication systems for NATO's political decision-makers and Commands, operating on the frontlines against cyber-attacks in collaboration with governments and industry to maintain NATO's technological edge. /ppOur NIMSC SATCOM Business Unit provides NATO and its partners with scalable, protected, secure, reliable, and integrated SATCOM services, focusing on NATO operations, crisis response, missions, exercises, and business continuity. We operate the NATO Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Ground Stations across multiple locations and support various satellite communication capabilities. /ph3Role Duties and Responsibilities /h3ulliInstallation and configuration of all elements of satellite communication systems, including baseband, RF, antenna, monitor and control systems, and associated software. /liliUpdating and changing hardware and software configurations on all satellite station elements as required. /liliSupporting local power technicians in installing and setting up power generation and distribution systems, HVAC, and ancillary systems. /liliMaintaining and repairing active/passive SATCOM, Power, HVAC, security, and ancillary systems following specific guidelines. /liliConducting regular preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, greasing, measuring, and adjusting system components. /liliDiagnosing and repairing issues with SATCOM, Power, HVAC, security, and ancillary systems, including replacing faulty components and updating software. /liliProviding service delivery support, including stakeholder management, technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate records. /liliParticipating in daily reporting, planning activities, workshops, events, and conferences as required. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3strongEssential Skills and Experience /strongulliMinimum 5 years of experience as a satellite technician or similar role. /liliGood knowledge of electronic and RF measurement instruments, proficiency with hand and power tools. /liliExcellent customer service and communication skills. /liliValid driver's license and reliable transportation. /li /ulstrongDesirable Certifications /strongulliPreferred certifications include CompTIA A+ or Network+. /li /ulstrongEducation /strongulliHigh school diploma or degree in electronics or related network/communication field; 10 years of relevant experience may substitute. /li /ulh3Working Policy /h3ulliOn-site work with specific working hours and potential rotating shift schedules, including weekends and holidays. /li /ulh3Travel /h3ulliSome travel to other NATO sites may be required. /li /ulh3Security Clearance /h3ulliValid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance required. /li /ulpWe encourage you to apply even if this opportunity isn't a perfect match, as we are always looking for talented individuals to join our team. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
