PuPosition : /u Health Safety Engineer (to work for the Operator) /ppuContract : /u until December 2025 /ppEU candidates /ppMusthave experience regarding proficiencies down below /ppbJob Purpose /b /ppThe Health and Safety Engineering Specialist is responsible for reviewing, assessing and managing the scope of works relevant to their specialization of the allocated FEED / EPC package under the direction of their delegated Senior Project Engineers and Project Manager in the oil and gas, petrochemical or infrastructure industries. /ppbKey Responsibilities and Duties /b /pulliProvide guidance, advice, monitoring, and assistance to the organization with compliance to corporate safety and environmental requirements. /liliThe role will be to liaise with the FEED / EPC contractor to ensure that all fire and safety related systems within the facility meet company, project and international standards and meet the full functionality and system requirements of the project. /liliConfirm that materials, systems, equipment and structures meet the safety requirements of the company, project and international standards. /liliVerify installation of the various system at site and provide support during pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the systems. /liliVerify safe operation, procedures and materials handling and lifting at site and adherence to company standards with respect to safety during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up. /liliReview of FEED / EPC purchase specifications and subsequent vendor documentation and bids to confirm compliance with safety standards and project requirements. /liliGet involved in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of specific units and liaise with the manufacturer. /liliCoordinate the requirements with Loss Prevention and Fire Department /liliProficiency in the below : /li /ulpo Fire Gas philosophy and specifications /ppo Fire water system designs /ppo Fire protection systems in process areas and in buildings /ppo Safety Design for process areas including fire detections layouts /ppo Buildings fire and gas design layouts /ppo Hazardous areas classifications /ppRequirements /ppbEducational Technical Requirements : /b /pulli10-15 years of relevant experience in large to mega projects /liliThorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details /liliGood working knowledge of Aramco standards and procedures and International standards /liliStrong communication skills, both verbal and written (training, presentations, report writing) /liliAnalyze Solve problems /liliSafety /liliCommunicating openly effectively /liliIncorporate Technical Knowledge /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
