Job PurposeThe Costing Intern will support the team in managing costing and purchasing processes for accessories (leathergoods and jewelry), contributing to optimizing company performance. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with various internal departments and the Merchandising team at the London Headquarters.Main Responsibilities include:During the internship, the candidate will gain key industry skills and be involved in the following activities:Costing ActivitiesCost Reporting & NegotiationUpdating cost and savings databasesHelping collect and manage FG Cost Sheets and FG Price ListsAssisting in the post-edit sample analysis to identify cost-saving opportunitiesAssisting in cost negotiations with vendorsCollaborating with department managers to define and monitor savings strategiesMonitoring cost trends and developing benchmarking reportsAnalysis & BenchmarkingParticipating in allocation and cost review meetingsSupporting the research and evaluation of alternative suppliers to improve competitivenessRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields (ongoing or recent graduate)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency in Excel and data analysis toolsInterest in the luxury accessories sector and cost managementGood communication skills and teamwork abilityGood knowledge of the English language
