The Role
We seek a driven and self-motivated Private Equity Associate with a technical background (4-6 years’ experience) to evaluate and execute investments. This role involves comprehensive due diligence, financial modelling, active portfolio support, and contributions to fund operations.
Key responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:
- Proactively identify and source promising companies active in the energy, environmental and digital transition space.
- Conduct initial screenings and assess investment viability.
- Analyse market, industry and technology trends.
- Due Diligence and Financial Analysis:
- Perform technical, financial, ESG and commercial due diligence.
- Develop financial models and valuation analyses.
- Evaluate industrial implication and regulatory risks.
- Investment Execution and Portfolio Management:
- Prepare investment memos and presentations.
- Assist in structuring investment terms.
- Monitor and support portfolio companies.
- Contribute to investor reporting.
The candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (BA, economics, engineering) is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting or similar would be preferable.
- Strong analytical skills and top-tier financial modelling skills.
- Entrepreneurial with excellent judgement and the ability/desire to take ownership and responsibility.
