With over 40 years of experience in high‑tech solutions for telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, environmental management, exploration, science and orbital infrastructure, we provide innovative space technologies to a wide range of customers. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliThe Radar Architect covers the definition of RF Payload and Digital Equipment Section. /liliPerform evaluation of radar input requirements and support the engineering analysis team on architecture and hardware/software design. /liliTrade‑off radar instrument solutions, defining architectures and sub‑systems (antenna, RF section, digital section), and focus on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) digital section, command control, timing, FDIR, and onboard processing. /liliDefine radar subsystem/units requirements, providing functional decomposition and performance needs for Digital, RF, and SW sections. /liliParticipate in design reviews at all levels and contribute to requirement traceability and maintenance. /liliSupport the Radar System Engineering Manager with requirements, performance, and budget evaluation. /liliContribute to definition and maintenance of radar payload budgets. /liliDevelop software tools (e.g., MATLAB, Excel) to support design and verification phases. /liliEvaluate test results and participate in test campaigns at instrument, assembly, equipment, and unit level. /liliAttend meetings with the Radar Instrument design team, external contractors, and customers. /liliPrepare documentation and hand‑outs. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree or Ph.D. in Remote Sensing Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or Electronics Engineering. /liliBackground in hardware design for RF and digital electronics, with experience in simulations and analysis. /liliStrong knowledge of antenna and RF design (distinctive). /liliProficiency with MATLAB and MS Office products. /liliIntermediate or higher English language (written and verbal). /liliTeam‑work oriented attitude. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3ullibSeniority level: /b Not Applicable /lilibEmployment type: /b Full‑time /lilibIndustry: /b Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing, Defense and Space Manufacturing /lilibLocation: /b Rome, Latium, Italy (Greater Rome Metropolitan Area) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
