Position Overview
#RINA is recruiting for a prestigious international Oil & Gas Project: Materials Specialist.
Location and Duration
* Location: Ravenna
* Duration: 12 months (at least)
Experience and Education
* More than 15 years of experience in a similar role in the O&G sector
* Technical High School Diploma; a University Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus
Skills and Certifications
* Proficiency in foreign languages (preferably English, French, or Spanish), including technical dictionaries
* Good knowledge of PC software (Windows, Office)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of International Quality Standards and applicable norms (EEMUA, API, ISO, EN, ASME, AWS, Customer Standards, etc.)
Responsibilities
* Supervise assigned contracts and coordinate material delivery to the field
* Perform technical evaluations of suppliers’ proposals for mechanical parts, valves, piping, flanges, fittings, and special parts
* Interface with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and schedule compliance
* Monitor project engineering standards and planning activities
* Manage documentation, progress reports, and cost tracking
* Review and verify material traceability, inspection/testing documentation, and compliance with codes and specifications
* Ensure NDT examinations are conducted per ITP and review reports
* Coordinate piping mechanical arrangements and alignment inspections in accordance with design parameters
