Main activities
1. Management and improvement of existing IT systems : management, maintenance and further implementations of systems (based on AS400) in order to guarantee their stability and efficiency to support business operations
2. Digital Transformation and Innovation: Lead the company through digital transformation projects, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and manufacturing innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies. Digital transformation may also concern the implementation of new generation ERP, after an in-depth risk/opportunity analysis
3. Data Management Management: Implementation and management of data management solutions, including data security, governance and data analytics to support business decisions
4. Leadership and development of the IT Team : coordination and development of skills in the IT team, with a view to collaboration, innovation and excellence
5. Collaboration with stakeholders: Active collaboration with all areas of the business to understand their technological needs and ensure that the IT solutions developed meet operational requirements and enable the development of new business opportunities
6. Project Management : supervision of the entire process, starting from the definition of requirements and including planning, resource allocation and progress monitoring
Requirements
Fundamentals/Must haves
7. Degree preferably in IT disciplines, with a solid understanding of IT principles and practices
8. At least ten years of experience in the IT sector, with roles of responsibility on company systems and team coordination
9. Proven experience managing AS400 based systems
10. Experience in digitalisation and data management projects, with demonstrated ability to drive organizational change
11. Excellent communication, leadership and time management skills
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced and multitasking environment
Preferential/Nice to have
13. Deep knowledge of production processes, gained within advanced industrial companies
14. Familiarity with the most used ERPs and data analytics systems
15. Good knowledge of English and/or Spanish
16. Residence in the work area to facilitate participation in company activities
Compensation Package
Permanent contract with management qualification, with remuneration linked to actual skills, supplemented by bonuses .
