We're looking for a talented and passionate engineer to work on our platform and products. You'll work with our team of engineers to build, improve, maintain, and grow our Podcast Delivery Network, our Advertisement APIs, and other applications built mainly using event-driven Serverless technologies.
We are seeking talent to grow our core Delivery / AdTech Team: Part of the Triton Digital family, this team manages the evolution of our platform. Podcasting is a growing and competitive market. We strive to provide the best technological infrastructure to customers ranging from small independent creators to large media companies and other podcasting platforms, continuously improving and adapting to industry changes. The team is mainly responsible for:
* Podcast Delivery Network: a globally used CDN with dynamic ad injection capabilities, utilized by a wide range of publishers worldwide.
* Other supporting microservices, especially in the Advertisement Domain.
You will need to organize your time, plan your work, and be a team player. We expect you to take ownership of the systems you build, which includes:
* Being responsible for the operational health of your services. The work isn't complete once the code is merged.
* Being empowered and encouraged to resolve operational issues and evolve our technology as the industry progresses.
Given the strict availability requirements of our content delivery platform, team members must participate in a weekly on-call rotation. To qualify for this position, you should meet these essential criteria:
* Fluent in English (both verbal and written) — English is the primary language for our global team.
* Residency in Spain or Italy.
* Proven, long-term experience building applications with Node.js.
* Familiarity with build automation, TDD, and continuous integration.
* Experience with SQL databases and key-value data stores.
* Understanding of HTTP protocols.
* Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous architectures.
* Experience with instrumenting and monitoring applications in production.
Bonus points if you:
* Have built and operated services using AWS Lambda and Serverless architectures.
* Have industry experience in AdTech or Podcasting.
* Are familiar with Grafana / Prometheus.
* Have experience with DynamoDB and Redis.
* Are familiar with Docker and Github Actions.
