PpNestled in the picturesque surroundings of Collecchio, near the vibrant city of Parma, dsm-firmenich is proud to announce the opening of a cutting‑edge production plant in early 2027. /p pThe new state‑of‑the‑art facility will feature the latest technologies such as ASTAROME™ to enable the use of liquid flavors in dry blends, and the production of more cost‑effective reaction flavors. With automated packaging lines and a modern warehouse, sampling, QC lab, and expansion capacity to ship, the site will be a state‑of‑the‑art place to help fulfil the ambition of Taste, Texture Health of dsm‑firmenich. It will be a place where talent and technology come together to fulfil our ambition: shaping the future together and driving the progress of food innovation. /p pTo support this ambitious project, we are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead end‑to‑end planning processes and drive service, inventory, and cost performance. From day one, you will build and mature our production and materials planning capabilities, working in close partnership with Operations, Procurement, and Customer Experience. /p pThis is a unique opportunity to take your career to the next level in an inspiring and dynamic environment. Join us and play a key role in shaping the future of food experiences! /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead production and materials planning to consistently achieve service, inventory, and cost targets /li liEnsure timely material availability, proactively partnering with Procurement to address supplier delays, risks, and recurring issues /li liEstablish robust planning routines and drive strong adherence across all relevant stakeholders /li liDevelop, maintain, and continuously optimise site production plans, balancing demand, capacity, and operational constraints /li liDrive continuous improvement in planning processes, data quality, and the adoption of digital and advanced planning tools /li liBuild, lead, coach, and develop the planning team in line with dsm firmennich fundamentals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a high performance culture /li /ul h3WE BRING /h3 ul liUnique career paths across health, nutrition and beauty – explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen. /li liA chance to impact millions of consumers every day – sustainability embedded in all we do. /li liA science‑led company, cutting‑edge research and creativity everywhere – from biotech breakthroughs to sustainability game‑changers, you’ll work on what’s next. /li liGrowth that keeps up with you – you join an industry leader that will develop your expertise and leadership. /li liA culture that lifts you up – with collaborative teams, shared wins, and people who cheer each other on. /li liA community where your voice matters – it is essential to serve our customers well. /li /ul h3YOU BRING /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field /li liMinimum of 5 years of Supply Chain experience, including strong expertise in operations planning /li liAt least 2 years of proven experience in a people leadership or team management role /li liAPICS CPIM or equivalent certification strongly preferred /li liSolid knowledge of SAP ECC or equivalent ERP systems; experience with advanced planning tools is a plus /li liFluent in both English and Italian (written and spoken) /li liAdvanced analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritisation skills /li liExcellent communication skills with a strong customer‑centric mindset /li /ul h3Salary Range Note /h3 pFor this role, the salary range is €63 640 – €70 000 gross per year. Your offer within this range will be determined based on objective, gender‑neutral and role‑related criteria, including your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and primary work location. /p pOur compensation practices are designed to ensure a fair and equitable pay approach.
