Experteer Overview
In this role you will contribute to the thermal management design team within R&D;, focusing on floor mount/chiller products. You will design or re-engineer mechanical components, primarily sheet metal and piping, collaborating across functions to meet cost, quality, and time targets. You will produce and review CAD drawings, manage item revisions in a PLM system, and resolve technical issues to improve assembly efficiency and product quality. This position offers global collaboration and hands‑on impact on market‑leading cooling solutions. - Design or re‑engineer mechanical aspects of floor mount/chiller products, focusing on sheet metal and piping
- Create and review CAD drawings, specifications, and BOMs
- Work within a PLM system to create items and manage revisions
- Analyze and resolve technical problems to improve assembly, reduce costs, and enhance quality
- Collaborate with suppliers, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering, incorporating product marketing inputs
- Update drawings and documentation based on Production, Procurement, and Logistics feedback
- Ensure solutions meet cost, quality, environment, and schedule objectives
Responsabilità
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years in similar mechanical design activities, preferably in Chiller or HVAC sectors
- Strong knowledge of light structural work processing
- 3D/2D CAD and PLM proficiency, especially PTC Creo
- Knowledge of technical drawings and BOM structures
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Decision‑making and problem‑solving capability
- Willingness to travel between Italy and Slovakia facilities
